About SCIC
OUR VISION
Out of our shared commitment to the peace and well-being of our larger community, and with respect for the diversity of our spiritual commitments the Stanislaus County Interfaith Council (SCIC) works to encourage mutual understanding, relationship-building, and opportunities for service.
We do this by..
MEETING
Monthly, and as needed, to discuss matters of concern to our faith traditions, to educate one another, and to share information about ourselves and our communities' upcoming events;
PLANNING
Special interfaith celebrations, discussion forums, informational seminars and other activities, whether at our Council level or through designated sub- Committees; and
PROMOTING
Local events that share our vision, both within our individual faith communities and in the larger community.
