Congregation Beth Shalom is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and every effort is made to serve the needs of the whole spectrum of interested Jewish residents in our area.

The HRCC continuously charges people with a spirit of selfless service, to live in tune with God and in harmony with humanity.The weekly spiritual assemblies, cultural programs and festival celebrations reinforce character and faith in the youth, thus channeling their energy and enthusiasm towards constructive purposes.

The root of the word Islam in Arabic means peace (Silm or Salam). The word ‘Islam’, also means submission to the One God, as well as living in harmony with other people and with the environment. Therefore, a Muslim is a person whose obedience, allegiance and loyalty are to God, Lord of the Universe, and who strives to live in accordance with God's laws.
The purpose of this organization is to cultivate and support the practice of Buddhist Insight meditation (sometimes also called mindfulness meditation) or Vipassana practice in the Modesto, California area. This type of meditation is based on the Theravada Buddhist traditions of the Ajahn Chah and Mahasi Sayadaw lineages in Asia and the Western Insight tradition as brought to the West by Joseph Goldstein, Sharon Salzberg, Jack Kornfield and teachers in that lineage.
Church of Our Lady of Fatima combines modern ideas with liturgical tradition. The new, safe and economical materials and scientific devices of the Twentieth Century lend their strength and convenience to serve the eternal functions of a house of worship.
Sikhs believe in the oneness of all beings and the equality of everyone. The Sikh faith is a monotheistic religion, meaning Sikhs worship one God. Guru Nanak taught that one must honor God by honoring others and the Earth, God's creation. Sikhism advocates equality, social justice, service to humanity, and tolerance for other religions.
We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace.
